Campbell Arnott's NZ partners with KidsCan Charity

One in four of all New Zealand children are growing up in poverty.


As part of Campbell Arnott's global commitment to social responsibility and the mandate "Our People Can Make a Difference", the New Zealand business is tackling the issue of poverty, identifying a partnership with KidsCan charity to make a real difference.


Campbell Arnott's NZ have a proud heritage of helping communities through partnerships with Cure Kids and The Breast Cancer Aotearoa Coalition. The new initiatives with KidsCan represents a national partnership that touches every community our people live and work in.


KidsCan is a national charitable organization whose mission is to meet the physical and nutritional needs of less fortunate Kiwi kids so they can be more engaged in their education and have a better chance of reaching their potential in life.


KidsCan provide the following essential programs which cost just 50cents per child per day.

  • Raincoats for kids
  • Shoes for kids
  • Food for kids
  • Health for kids
  • Lumino the dentists

  • How our staff are getting involved

      The comprehensive Community Responsibility Programme ensures that every person within the business can be involved. Some of the fundraising activities already in place include:

      • Corporate fundraising events
      • Volunteering in local schools and during the food distributions
      • Assisting at school raincoat/shoes distributions
      • Participating in the Santa Run event in 14 regions
      • Personally supporting a child through our "In our own Backyard" programme
      • Knitting initiative during winter (beanies, slippers and scarves)
      • Administration support at KidsCan HQ
      • For every 10 hours that our staff put in personally, the business donate $100
